Senior Program Manager

Who Are We Looking For? Right now, we're looking for a Senior Program Manager who is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day tactical operations of multiple large scale business and technology projects, ensuring releases are on time and within budget. The job demands a self-starting leader who also enjoys keeping a cross-functional team and schedule on track. With a varied focus from technology (engineering/product) to business analysis, the role requires a strong over-communicator, with indirect (influence) oversight of multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
• Direct and manage numerous and varied projects' scheduling from inception to deployment
• Manage projects' scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders
• Lead due diligence / estimation processes with engineers, designers and product managers
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
• Effectively communicate project expectations to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, then manage those resources (dotted-line) across projects
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Track project milestones and deliverables
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree required;
• Masters degree or equivalent experience A PLUS
• PMI Certification A PLUS
• 5+ years' project or program management experience
• Web or software based program management
• 2+ years' business intelligence experience
• 2+ years' operations strategy and management experience
• Proven ability to manage and direct a wildy varied group of personalities and staff levels
• Automotive and consumer Internet experience A PLUS
