Engineers working in QA are an important part of the development team and are responsible for creating test strategies, writing test plans and managing small teams that write test plans, designing automated testing systems, and implementing robust test automation. Responsibilities include reporting problems and advocating for code fixes, identifying bug patterns, and supporting sound engineering processes and practices.


Sr Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Must have programming knowledge in .net/C# for this role)


Required Skills
Responsible for testing efforts on the projects
Participates in project development and iteration planning processes
Coordinates development and creation of test cases for QA Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Performs testing and logs results
Provides regular status updates to Project Manager, updates iteration backlog
Required Experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of software development experience
Knowledge of software development and software testing lifecycles
Familiar with TDD paradigm and QA aspects of it
Fluent with .NET based test automation frameworks (NUnit, VS Test, etc)
Good coding skills in C#
Passionate about quality and software testing
Experience with test automation, test tool creation, automation framework is a plus
Knowledge of the .NET Framework is preferred
Familiarity with Agile (XP, Scrum, etc) project execution a bonus
