NOTE: We are looking to hire at least 10 software engineers. Junior and Senior positions are available in San Francisco, CA or Portland, OR. Our headquarters is in San Francisco, but we are also looking to build a team in Portland, OR.

Marin Software engineers are passionate about designing quality code through a collaborative process. We enjoy intense mathematics and computer science challenges and approach these problems with creativity and teamwork.

Responsibilities
• Design, build, and unit test object-oriented software in a collaborative environment
• Build scalable, stable, and efficient processes to collect, manipulate, present, and analyze large datasets.
• Passion for developing efficient, testable and well-documented code
• Mentor junior software engineers

Requirements
• Object Oriented Programming (Java, C++) and design (UML, patterns)
• Unit testing (JUnit) and documentation (Javadoc)
• Experience developing distributed systems, especially data stores
• Database systems and algorithmic development (RDBMS, OLAP, Structured Storage)
• Experience building intensive data driven applications
• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science
• 7+ years relevant work experience.

Compensation
Full-time salaried position – compensation dependent on prior experience. Marin pays market-leading compensation for top performers. Position includes equity participation, Marin pays 100% of comprehensive benefits (healthcare, vision, dental) and 50% of commuting cost are expensed. This is an onsite position at Marin Software's headquarters in San Francisco's financial district (2 blocks from BART). Contract-to-hire applicants are OK.
