Job Title: Senior IT Analyst (Oracle - Tech/Func)
Duration: 12 mos+ (renewable per quarter)
Location: San Jose, CA

Immediate need for a Sr. IT Analyst with the following skills:
Key Skills:
- 8+ years industry experience in Oracle Financial Applications.
-Must have both Functional and Technical knowledge of Applications.
-Needs to have prior experience working with application development teams.
-Strong understanding of Application Development (Mandatory).
- Financials applications experience on Oracle R12 Procurement, iProcurement, iSupplier and payable modules. (Mandatory)
- Financials applications experience on Oracle R12 GL, AP, PO, FA modules. (Preferred)
- Understanding of the SDLC and the associated deliverables and activities, Business Analysis skills, Project Co-ordination skills, knowledge of Project Management discipline. (Mandatory)
- Experience working with global communications issue (Mandatory)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as receptive listening skills.
- Experience facilitating meetings, to conduct user interviews, and to utilize other techniques to extract and document information and needs from clients is essential. (Highly Desirable)
- A determined and assertive personality ability to communicate with strong IT and business leads.
- Excellent skills with MS Office suite of application.
- IT/IS Related Degree with Technical background.
- Infrastructure knowledge(knows and understands infrastructure concepts).

Responsibilities:
- Provide IT analysis and technical services to support Finance business groups on shore and off shore.
- Requirements gathering and documentation, data analysis, and investigation into issues with data integration between systems
- Development of functional specification and solution design documentation.
- Development of testing documentation, execution of system testing and providing support to end-users through each testing cycle.
- Team with business partners and IT groups to investigate and solution technology options for increasing efficiency and resolving business issues.
- Provide IT support for operational issues requiring increased management focus or escalation outside of the standard support model
- Actively involved in providing technical expertise to support the business developing their future project roadmap
- Actively assist the Theatre Leads for project and status reporting to business partners and IT management.
- Develop and take ownership for Status reporting processes and tools.

Key Deliverables/Objectives:
- Responsible for the collection and collation of project requirements in the context of Oracle Financial modules : GL, AP, PO, FA, iExpense and iProcurement.
- Development of technical/solution(Functional System/Technical Design Documents) project documentation.
- Communicating between theatre team Members, IT and Business Theatre management.
- Ownership of specific Project Lifecycle stages and their associated deliverables.
- Work closely with Business partners to understand current requirements and future needs.
- Development and communication of project and portfolio status reports.
- Ongoing involvement in team meetings and events.
