Our client is a highly successful Silicon Valley start-up to the small-medium size businesses.

The Web Developer's role is to build the operations end of the organization's web sites and keep them running smoothly. This includes designing, building, and implementing new emails, web pages, and sites; integrating sites with back end applications; migrating legacy applications to the Web; and performing day-to-day administration of the organization's web portfolio. Use of a variety of development languages is required.

The candidate must possess knowledge of email best practices and cross-client functionalities.

This position requires someone with a passion for coding attractive and effective design, intelligent user experiences, and cutting edge programming solutions for web and email projects. In this position, it is imperative that the candidate is reliable, consistent, meticulous, quick on the uptake, a clean coder, and puts quality first.

Responsible to work with designers and writers to ensure creative solutions are technically feasible, and program deliverables to technical and brand standard requirements. Must follow company guidelines and existing templates to produce consistent materials, as well as code web site pages, emails, microsites, etc. Responsible to improve, manage, and expand SEO strategies and organic ranking. Must be able to implement feedback in a timely fashion, and test, track, and resolve bugs.

Responsible to analyze and report program performance; provide results and recommendations for improvement and new programs, leverage a "test, measure, and refine" approach to constantly improve results and increase the impact of online assets. Must understand and implement coding schemes for tracking purposes and understand, optimize, and expand our keyword list.

Requirements:

BA/BS Degree
3+ years web development experience.
Prior experience as a web developer in a corporate marketing environment; ideally in high-tech industry
Expert HTML, CSS, PHP, AJAX, and Javascript (hand-coded)
Ability to expertly integrate APIs for various social, email and other SaaS platforms
Proficiency with email development and deployment
Solid understanding of email best practices and cross client compatibility
Experience with Photoshop and developing pages from PSD artwork (must be able to code a design that perfectly matches the PSD)
Extreme attention to detail; ability to complete projects with minimal supervision
Working knowledge of web marketing strategy, interface design, and architecture
Thorough understanding of Web analytics and SEO strategies/implementation.
Previous experience with Google Analytics a must.
Experience implementing and building dynamic landing pages with variable data based on CIDs
Experience implementing Wordpress blog sites and customized plugins
Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Motivated self-starter with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency
Passion for delivering results
Ability to effectively accomplish goals while working in a team-based, open-office environment

Marketing Automation Tool (Eloqua, Silverpop, Marketo, etc) experience a plus
Flash and/or Illustrator skills a plus
Conceptual knowledge of design principles (typography, color, layout, proportion, motion, etc.) a plus

Base salary $90k - $100k.
