Title: UI/Ptototyper
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 6+ months contract
Interaction Design 50% and Prototyping 50%
. 5+ years in a senior interaction design, user interface design or human factors engineering
. Excellent design skills and an outstanding portfolio of interactive projects
. Experience in Web-based information architecture or interaction design
. Create the user interaction model, workflows, information architecture, schematics, wire frames, and interface guidelines/specifications
. Work collaboratively with other designers, product managers and engineers
. Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
. Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash is highly desired.
. Bachelors or Masters degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
. Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate your design and advocate best practice solutions
Gathering and Analysis of users feedback and business
Help develop an estimated Time line and project plan for the Tool
Develop a User Experience flow for the different personas Distributor, Reseller and Internal customer
Design Information Architecture
Design and Develop wireframes mock up
Worked closely with the Business Sector and IT to provide a solution for a better user experience
Develop of HTML pages mockup for prototyping and user testing.
Help with user testing and implement feedback into prototype for a better user experience.
Worked closely with IT to implement the design prototype into development.
