Who Are We Looking For? Right now, we're looking for a Database Developer. You will be utilizing the latest web technologies to solve challenging problems, create innovative web applications from the ground up and understand exactly what it takes to create an outrageously good Web experience for our customers. You'll be all about finding ways to increase customer conversion and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Tune and optimize operational and production databases in both OLTP and OLAP
- Create, maintain, and optimize database objects like indices, triggers, and schemata
- Design and write ETL processes for data from many disparate sources
- Implement and run our car-pricing data pipeline
- Write, debug, and optimize complex queries and stored procedures in PL/SQL
- Work in a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience building and maintaining business-critical production databases
- Ability to deal with large, complex data sets
- Expert programming skills in SQL
- Experience using SSIS or some other ETL tool (or are comfortable writing your own)
- Experience building cubes and other reporting services (use of SSAS, SSRS)
- Experience with automotive-related data preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with non-relational databases a plus (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience with other programming languages a plus (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
- Passionate about data and a desire for continuous education
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
