QA Analyst

Who Are We Looking For? Right now, we're looking for a QA Analyst who is responsible for creating, maintaining, and following test plans; logging and verifying defects; executing tests; and ultimately ensuring the overall quality of TrueCar's web properties. You will be utilizing the latest web technologies to solve challenging problems, create innovative web applications from the ground up and understand exactly what it takes to create an outrageously good Web experience for our customers. You'll be all about finding ways to increase customer conversion and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Create, revise, and prioritize test cases and plans
• Execute test scripts
• Report and manage bugs in a bug tracking database
• Perform daily manual testing
• Perform cross-browser/platform testing
• Review and test against product specification documents
• Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in computer related field OR equivalent work experience
• 2 years of web application QA
• In depth web browser experience including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems
• Understanding of web protocols
• Experience using tools to diagnose issues encountered while testing (FireBug, Charles, Fiddler, etc.)
• Knowledge of Mac OS and Safari - a plus
• Knowledge of VM platforms - a plus
• Knowledge at least one relational database and SQL - a plus
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, Selenium, jUnit, jMeter, and/or jWebUnit - a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
