Title: Technical Trainer
Location: Westlake, TX
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Interview: Phone to Onsite
Max pay rate: DOE

Teaches classes for employees or customers regarding features and operation of software products. May test and maintain training software, documentation, and A/V presentation materials. May conduct training needs analysis and develop technical training. Operates under general supervision. Responsible for employee instruction in the absence of specific employee instruction staff.

Education: BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: 4+ years technical training, field sales, product support, and/or consulting experience

Knowledge/Skills: Detailed knowledge of technical training.

• Preferred excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including effectively communicating technical solutions in a non-technical way
• Preferred exceptional listening and analytical skills
• Must have existing skills in MS Word, Adobe FrameMaker 8, and TechSmith SnagIt
• Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50%
• Preferred strong computer skills including Captivate
• Preferred demonstrated success collaborating with subject matter experts and team members
• Preferred demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Preferred dedication to providing exceptional customer service
• Preferred ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment that demands initiative and responsiveness
