Technical Support Specialist /Help Desk
1 month+contract
San Ramon,CA


The IT Service Desk Technical Support Specialist (TSS) position is a second level customer support role providing a professional example, guidance, training, encouragement, correction and operational instruction while supporting customers and the Service Desk Analysts who work on the IT Service Desk.
This position requires good communication skills to interact with vendors and personnel, at all levels throughout the company, to escalate and resolve issues.
System monitoring, tracking and gathering of information, and present it to the IT Service Desk Lead(s) and/or Manager
Answer incoming customer telephone calls, place outgoing calls and document all interactions

Skills
Proficient with Windows operating systems including Windows 98, 2000, XP
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Some previous experience using an ACD phone system
Knowledge or experience in networking, computer hardware, Internet, Client/Server, and computer operating systems

This is the SECOND SHIFT
