eGain is looking for a hands-on senior product marketing manager/director of product marketing to help take its next-generation products to market, create excitement around them and enable field organizations and partners. If you are a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves product marketing professional, looking for a challenging, exciting and rewarding position and make a difference, this is the job for you!
Key responsibilities include:
- Product positioning, messaging and competitive analysis
- Create product and solution marketing collateral: Text and video-based product overviews, product marketing/sales presentations, product marketing content for web site, competitive analyses, audience-specific value propositions, and other field and channel enablement material
- Train direct sales and channel partners on how to position and sell the products
- Create and deliver marketing presentations at online and brick-and-mortar events
- Execute product launches
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:
- 6-10 years of experience and proven track record of success in product and solution marketing in the CRM, customer service management, ebusiness, social, knowledge management or contact center software space
- Outstanding communication skills – verbal, writing and collaboration
- Product marketing experience in customer service, contact center, ebusiness, KM, social or CRM software companies a must
- Good understanding of the above market spaces, including current trends and competitive dynamics
- Commitment to speed, quality and results
- Technical undergraduate degree or degree in communications or business administration with strong understanding of technology
