This company is seeking a talented candidate with an enterprise cloud software pre-sales or consulting background to act as an overlay sales resource for this great opportunity:





Position title: Cloud Pre-Sales Engineer
Location: Anywhere in U.S.






Position duties :

• Coordinate selling activities across service, consulting and license sales teams
• Determines and executes cloud Services sales process and strategy for new and existing
customers.
• Develops and executes account strategies and tactical penetration plans by identifying key
business plans, key decision makers, performance indicators, and budget constraints for
cloud in conjunction with the total solution and pursuit team.
• Develops and fosters a strong relationship as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Develops compelling value propositions for use of the company's cloud services in
conjunction with total solution ROI cost/benefit analysis.
• Ensures all cloud services components of the sales cycle are thoroughly planned, presented
and delivered to the customer.
• Executes against the major steps of the sales process in conjunction with the pursuit team
and at the direction of the lead Account Manager
• Provide cloud services training and updates to all sales teams with specific territory
• Responsible to gather all customer technical and business requirements and work with the
cloud services team to ensure viability of all deals
• Serves as internal a focal point for cloud services issues arising during the sales cycle and
elevates unresolved issues to management.
• Serves as a resource for customer references and provides strategic customer insight
including current state of business, additional business opportunities, and challenges faced
by the customer.
• Provides support for RFP process as it relates to cloud services.
• Draft customer proposals, pricing documents and customer contracts for cloud services





Required skills and experience :

• Experience in a pre-sales or consulting role supporting software sales in an enterprise cloud,
SaaS, on demand or managed service delivery model
• Experience in the supply chain, manufacturing, retail, and/or consumer goods industry
preferred
• Experience developing and delivering presentations.
• Experience writing RFIs, RFPs and customer proposals
• Strong communications skills with the ability to guide an audience through clear, concise
communication techniques.
• Effective public speaking skills
• Ability to travel throughout the Americas.
