Position: Technical Digital Imaging Associate

Description:
• The Technical Digital Imaging Associate coordinates the procedures and requirements required for production of images and data from Marketing and Marketing Brand Presentation, CAD, and Merch & Design teams.
• In addition to ensuring that the most effective tools are available to all members of the Production Team. This position requires a collaborative spirit, working with two different Digital Asset Management systems(DAM) in place today (Digithub and Scene 7) the ability to lead and manage projects, and work across functional units and Technology Vendors. This position will report to a Sr. Manager IT.
Responsibilities
• Provide support for the implementation and maintenance of a digital asset management systems.
• Work with Marketing and Marketing Brand Presentation, CAD, and Merch & Design teams to manage production workflow.
• Compare image files to metadata records to prepare for launches/upgrades of software applications.
• Sometimes assist upload images and management data onto the production servers or into the DAM. Add administrative metadata into the DAM as necessary.
• Assist in bringing most effective solutions for managing imaging and processing activities.
• Manage special projects as needed.
• Manage access issues and help users follow the process in loading/down loading digital assets.
• Work with vendors and content providers to solve any problems.
• Assist Technology, Metadata, User Services, and other departments in locating images when necessary.
• Understand the reasons for the imaging specifications for a project's digital source material, and the basic cataloging/metadata work requirements.
• Work with contributors, vendors, and appropriate staff in a professional and collegial manner.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience managing large quantities of digital images or files
• Experience with both Windows and Mac platforms
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work relatively independently, to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with a global teams of marketing and other departments mentioned above.
Preferred
• BA or BS degree.
• Knowledge of digital imaging technology.
• Knowledge of digital image workflows & correction practices.
