Member of Technical Staff – Hypervisor Group
Location: Ottawa, Canada


Wind River is looking for people with a passion to for developing state-of-the-art high-performance hypervisors. The successful candidate will be part of a global team responsible for creating Wind River's line of virtualization products. The team's primary focus is the development of Wind River´s Safe and Secure Platform, with a focus on safety and mission critical systems.

Requirements:
- 7+ years experience in system software development with excellent hands-on experience developing in C and assembly language.
- 3+ years experience in embedded real-time software development
- 3+ years experience in low level programming, (e.g. drivers, interrupts)
- Experience in any of the following areas is an asset:
(a) In-depth expertise in one or more of PPC, Intel, ARM
(b) RTOS experience
(c) Virtualization and Hypervisors
(d) Partitioned operating systems (e.g. ARINC 653)
- Ability to participate in complex technical discussions and initiatives
- Cross-development experience in Windows and/or Linux/Unix environments
- Strong communications and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment
- BSEE/BSCS/BSCE in Computer Science or equivalent. MSCS/MSEE/MSCE is an asset
