[KITlist-Tech] Operations Programmer Analyst (San Francisco, CA)

We have an immediate opening for a Programmer Analyst working in the Hosting Operations team in our San Francisco headquarters. Candidate must enjoy creatively solving technical challenges and have a strong technical background and superior organization and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

This is a new position and the candidate will be sharing time in an Operational and Programming role. Candidate will be working in an operational eDiscovery team, but will analyze and solve technical issues using a combination of command line and scripting solutions. Job tasks will include:

•Supporting Recommind litigation support software applications
•Develop custom scripts and queries for data manipulation, system automation, and log file analysis using ruby, bat/batch files, GNU tools, vbscript and/or other scripting languages
•Maintain and troubleshoot litigation databases (i.e. perform data normalization, global edits, remove duplicates, overlay or merge data into existing records, index and maintain databases)
•Provide application support and troubleshooting assistance to Project Managers and Clients
•Investigate and troubleshoot software bugs and enhancement requests that affect Hosting and Hosting customers to Software Engineering
•Develop templates and best practices and deploy within Operations team
•Database tuning and performance monitoring

Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
•Candidate must be enthusiastic and fast-paced worker, able to solve technical challenges creatively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
•Excellent problem solving ability, verbal and written communication skills, work under strict deadlines in a legal environment and the ability to interact with all levels of staff necessary
•Ability to work in an exciting and dynamic environment, handle multiple tasks under challenging conditions and work as a team player
