As we continue to grow all of our solutions in Information Access and eDiscovery, we are looking for an experienced product management professional to help lead the direction and management of our Ingestion/Connector Suite of products. This person must have extensive technical experience with information crawling/processing and proven track record in the delivery of products to market.
This person will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with customers, engineering, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Their responsibilities will also include ensuring that the product suite supports the company´s overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities:
• Gathering requirements for connectors to ensure they meet client expectations
• Gathering requirements for crawlers to ensure they meet client expectations
• Document connector specifications for development (internal or 3rd party)
• Determine standard vs. custom functionality for connector/crawler implementations
• Serve as subject matter expert for EDD and Search use cases for all connectors (Sharepoint, Exchange, Evault, OpenText, Documentum, etc.)
• Interface between Product Management, CORE development, and 3rd party connector development resources
• Evaluate build versus buy opportunities for connectors
• Relationship management for 3rd party connector vendors
• Mitigation plan for updating existing connectors
• Prioritize future connector development
• Ensure connectors/crawlers meet appropriate release gates (regression, UAT, documentation)
• Training internal resources on connector/crawler functionality
Requirements
• 5+ years proven Product Management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail orientated
• Bachelor´s degree (MBA preferred)
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
