Cisco seeks a Senior Software Engineer who have a passion and drive to define, design, build, and deliver product(s) in scalable data center software solutions enabling IaaS (Infrastructure as a cloud) capabilities.

Unified Computing System (UCS) is a new series of innovative products which were recently launched in the marketplace by Cisco that is transforming the data centers for Enterprise, Service Providers, ASPs and Cloud Computing Service Providers. UCS is driving consolidation and convergence of virtualized switching, storage, and server infrastructure capabilities.

This is an opportunity to join a fun, exciting, and cutting edge product development growing team that is delivering next generation data center management infrastructure and services.

We are looking for a GUI Engineer with strong experience in developing cutting-edge GUIs using Flex/Java. We´re looking for someone that can bring a strong UI vision and develop high-quality software at a fast pace. More than any other quality, we are looking for those driven by the challenge of solving unique and difficult technical problems, those who excel when given creative freedom, and those who aren´t afraid to dive into new territory (technical or
otherwise) and learn something new. You should have a good sense of product design, and be willing to work in small, self-organizing teams.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Hands-on development and design of web UI using Java, Flex, Javascript and/or HTML 5; understanding of GUI design principles. Experience in similar environment would also work (ex - Java Swing, Silverlight), but the person should be willing to work with Flex and learn if necessary.
• Unit testing and continuous integration
• Experience with REST and JSON is preferred
• Experience with web design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
• Agile software development (Scrum ) is a plus
