Marketing Technology Project Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Technology Project Manager contractor for a client opportunity at a large, high technology company in Sunnyvale. This role is within the client´s marketing technology team. This team is responsible for the selection, implementation, training and support for new systems and new system capabilities within the marketing organization. Such systems may include Salesforce.com, social listening systems, social marketing tools, marketing metrics tools, etc.

The marketing technology project manager will be responsible for leading the team for 1 or more of the systems that are to be selected, implemented and supported.

This is a 40 hour per week, 3 month role (extensions likely, or potential conversion to perm) at the client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities:
• Interview internal stakeholders to determine capability gaps, then develop and execute project plans with solutions that drive value for the business
• Own end to end implementation of small and large projects
• Manage through influence and leadership across the marketing organization and IT team
• Partner tightly with the SaaS vendors selected
• Employ project management best practices (documentation and meetings) to deliver the right solutions on time and within budget

Requirements:
•8 years of experience in marketing technology project management, or marketing systems field
•Experience working on implementing or managing marketing technologies (e.g. email, social, web, analytics tools)
•A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required, Computer Science education (or equivalent), preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work with global teams
