Responsibilities:
•Work in a dynamic startup environment with product management, development, and operations peers to design and develop technical solutions to meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
•Design and build secure, reliable, large-scale and high-performance Internet services, using knowledge and experience with Linux, Apache, Perl/PHP/Python and MySQL
•Develop cross-browser web pages using knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, DOM and JavaScript
•Design complex data models with relational databases
•Implement back-end functionality of a database-driven, multi-tiered, service-oriented architecture
•Implement front-end functionality of interactive and dynamic user interfaces
•Implement client-side functionality as browser add-ons
•Integrate email service with web-based applications
•Utilize standards-based, open-source development stacks
Requirements:
•C/C++ or Java programming experience
•Experience building APIs
•Basic to advanced knowledge of Javascript, Ajax, HTML, CSS
Pluses:
•PHP, Perl, or Python
•MySQL
•Apache
•Experience with caching technologies, such as memcache and APC
•E-commerce or online advertising industry experience
•Any technically relevant personal projects
•Strong background in math, statistics, and/or computer science
•Computer Science bachelors degree
•Advanced technical degree
