Job Qualifications:
• Should have 5 to 7 years experience in Performance Testing using HP LoadRunner
• 5+ years documented performance testing experience.
• Experience should include the configuration of the components necessary to support the load test environment - i.e. LoadRunner Controller, injectors etc.
• 3+ years Experience in testing large, complex Oracle EBS financials or supply chain systems/applications
• Should have experience with HP Performance Testing / HP Load Runner / HP Performance Center, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project Plan, MS Excel
• Support development teams in composing load testing plans, directly writes scripts to implement the plan
• Creation of the test plan and test scenarios whose scope includes new code or changes in existing code and new technologies
• Provide scenario characteristics for test cases
• Documented experience in communicating performance results both internally and externally. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Under little or no supervision conducts a wide range of tests and analyses with competency to ensure that software, systems, and services meet minimum company standards against defined functional and non-functional requirements.
• Executes complex tests according to established plans and scripts; documents problems in defect tracking tool or similar; retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. Creates supporting test data with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flows.
• Coordinates and collaborates with other technical experts (DBA, developers, system operations, etc.) to configure and execute tests as well as understand and publish test results.
• Strong technical experience in performance test planning, development, parameterized test scripting and execution for testing web services, portals and dynamic web content in multiple environments
• In depth knowledge and experience in Performance Testing Methodologies and Best Practices
• Ability to independently deliver the projects
• Strong problem analysis & resolution skills
Senior/Lead:
Lead should have the following additional skills in addition to listed above.
• Ability to compile program level test statistics, metrics, create reporting, for performance testing
• This person must be able to execute performance test scripts, but give guidance on what to test to off-shore Performance Testing team (not only write)
• Proficient and hands-on in HP Load Runner
• Ability to design and develop Performance Test Scripts and Scenarios
• Ability to provide guidance in building Performance Test Environments
• Ability to execute Scenarios and Monitor various web/app/db servers
• Ability to analyze and identify performance bottlenecks and make recommendations
• Responsible for Performance Testing Delivery
• Knowledge of S/W development processes and methodologies
