[KITlist-Tech] Manufacturing Process Engineer (Silicon Valley, CA)

Will be responsible for design, development and sustaining of processes and methods for manufacture of large area image sensors. Will develop computer controlled automatic assembly systems for wafer/die manipulation and automated assembly. Will develop in-process electrical functional testing methods and systems. Conduct investigations and experiments to develop and qualify processes for cleaning, automated fluid dispense and other processes. Design and execute HALT/HESS testing to verify long term quality and reliability. Requires MSME/MSEE or MS Physics or equivalent plus a minimum of 2-3 years directly applicable experience in manufacturing environment.

Must possess knowledge of SPC as it applies to manufacturing processes including DOE, HALT/HASS as it applies to process qualification methods. Experience with adhesive science desirable. Additional experence in design and development of precision staging and controls, automation, control algorithms/software. Training in Six Sigma highly desirable. Knowledge of cGMP or ISO 13485 medical devices standards is highly desirable.

25% travel required.
