Below is a summary of the position

Job Title: - Software QA
Duration: - 3 months
Loc: - Mountain View CA
Rate: - DOE on W2 (along with Medical and basic Insurance)

Job Description:-

Duties
- Install customized OS for Backup Appliance
- Configure network, storage for Backup Appliance
- Test backup/Restore files/database for Backup Appliance
- Test Disaster Recovery for appliance

Skills
- Familiar with Suse and UNIX.
-experience with similar backup/restore and DE duplication technologies like EMC Avamar, Data Domain.
- 3+ experience managing complex Net Backup solutions for enterprise customers.
-experience of working in cross platforms server environments: UNIX, Linux, Windows
- Working knowledge of a SAN, Storage Array environment EMC, IBM, HP, NetApp.
-Knowledge of server hardware and tape libraries.
- Experience of troubleshooting network problems.
- Some understanding of databases.
- Ability to quickly assess environment v. application root cause.
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors.
- Demonstrated skills at working within a team environment
