Job Title:- Oracle Developer

ROLE
• Act as an Developer/Tester
• Provide Post Production Support
• Develop software based technical designs and follow AB source code/release management.
• Report defects using defects tracking / management system
• Ensure adherence to appropriate documentation and development standards and processes
• Effectively communicate production support issues to technical lead and business users.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of Design and Development experience
• 5+ years Oracle 9i+ Database Development (SQL, PL/SQL)
• 2-3+ years Oracle forms & Reports 6i
• Strong understanding of Oracle technologies (ODBC, Object Oriented database design, query optimization/tuning, PL/SQL)
• Good cross-functional knowledge with SAP and Manufacturing systems.
• Strong understanding of development SDLC (preferably Waterfall and Iterative).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; Attention to details is paramount
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding and ability to use Source control / configuration management tools.
• Demonstrate understanding of QA / QC process and test methodologies
• Life Science industry background is a plus.
• C++ Builder /JAVA exposure is desired.
• Exposure to ITIL incident management is a plus.
• Exposure to Change management procedures.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent required.

Location:- Pleasanton, CA
Duration:- 3-6 months+
