Oodle (http://www.oodle.com/) is a young, well-funded start-up with experienced Internet executives and engineers. At Oodle, you should expect to find:

Learning & Mentorship. You will learn by working on challenging, trend-setting projects along side highly experienced dot-com entrepreneurs. Oodle has a team-oriented atmosphere where everyone´s ideas are met with genuine enthusiasm.

Camaraderie & Fun. We have a down-to-earth, diverse and friendly team. We´ve got spice too. Jokes and some light-hearted trash-talk transpire when the highly coveted ten dollar Starbucks card is awarded at weekly competitions (like Texas Hold´em or company ultimate games).

Cutting Edge & Opportunity. Oodle is success-bound. We have both an innovative product and a team of executives and engineers who know how to build successful businesses. We can barely keep up with our demand (eh-hem, we need you).

We are seeking a senior level UI/Front-End Designer/Developer to join Oodle´s Engineering team. - Implement Front-End designs based on design specifications with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Help drive the visual design direction for Oodle properties, including Oodle.com and Facebook Marketplace.
- Help promote and maintain standards and best-practices for Oodle´s front-end development team.
- Development and ownership of graphical UI assets to be used throughout Oodle´s properties.

Requirements:

- Portfolio of previous work or 4+ years of industry experience in a front-end developer or visual designer role.
- High level of confidence and ability in working with HTML and CSS.
- Comfortable with JavaScript, DOM manipulation, Event-driven implementation. Experience with jQuery a plus.
