Senior Manager, Product Marketing and Program Management

The senior manager serves as a key member of the product management team and is
responsible for a team of product marketing program managers. This senior manager will work in close partnership with the Directors of Product Management to help streamline and manage the operations of their businesses. A successful manager grows, manages, and mentors a team implementing organizational strategies, policies and practices, internal and fieldcommunications, cross-functional projects, staff meeting management, product programs and efficiencies.

Responsibilities include:

- Hires and mentors marketing program managers
- Leads cross-functional teams and ensures progress toward milestones.
- Ensures cross-functional roles are included with appropriate responsibilities
and accountabilities
- Manages project management plans and timelines for all assignments.
- Develops strategic product communications plan for a product line (multiple
products) to ensure consistent messaging and appropriate frequency across all
touch-points, including field, channel teams, executive, analyst, and customers.
- Oversees partnering with product team to communicate product news to sales and
channel personnel.
- Collaborates cross-functionally on product messaging.
- Oversees, participates/or leads field-facing projects by working with account
teams and product management.
- Oversees content development for sales training, analyst relations, press
events and other business-driven needs.
- Oversees and identifies needs for and drives marketing operations, including
product launch management.
- Design, develop, and deliver internal communications strategy that supports
overall theatre goals and its major initiatives/programs/priorities – this
includes creating an overall plan, identifying key messages, understanding
audiences and communications.
- Oversee the delivery of internal newsletters including metrics, mailing lists
and reader rate.
- Oversee management of the Security group´s pages on the company´s internal
website.
- Drive monthly communications metrics
- Ability to establish credibility with high-level management with strong
negotiating and influencing skills.
- Demonstrable understanding of the visual design processes and working with
agency partners
- Direct management of agency partners; serves as the single point of contact on
given projects and communicates respectively
- Maturity to strike a balance between showing initiative and seeking
appropriate guidance and input from others.

Skills required:
- Demonstrated success in team management.
- Demonstrated success in managing program management.
- Typically requires BA/BS in marketing or business with 10+ years of industry
experience. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Manager
- Prior experience successfully managing external customer/partner
relationships.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team, with international
experience a plus.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-focused, proactive and detail-oriented.
- Marketing and proven program management experience
- An understanding of general networking and security
- Communications plan development, management, and implementation skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing program budgets.
