Job Title IT Applications Architect

Duties:-
- The IT Data Application Architect is responsible for assessing the data requirements for architecture changes and identifying the techniques and technologies that should be applied at the application level.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for producing the architectural artifacts required for a major business process re-engineering program.
- The role requires experience in creating Data Flow Diagrams at both a Conceptual and Logical View Level.
- Preferably this capability should be based on a solid record of achievement in the Enterprise Business Intelligence domain.
- He/she may participate in business and technology planning sessions and will be responsible for communicating the implications of architectural decisions, issues and plans to business and technology leadership.
- The Data Architect will require a thorough understanding of database technology, data security, data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
- The role provides support and guidance to the Service Delivery Management Teams during the analysis and development processes and provides expert knowledge of data architecture and consultation to Business and Technology teams.

Skills:-
- 10 or more years of enterprise level data design/architecture experience
- Sound understanding of database technology, data mining, data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
- Proven track record of success with enterprise- scale data warehousing solution.
- Solid background in database modeling, data structures and SQL
- Broad knowledge of data warehousing technologies, techniques, and ETL tools
- Proven ability to guide technical strategies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all technical and non-technical members of the organization

Education:-
- MS/MBA/MA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Equivalent, applicable certification or equivalent experience

Location: - Mountain View, CA
Duration: - 6 Months+
