We are looking for a high-level, seasoned, hands-on QA Analyst to oversee the entire testing effort, with clear communication skills who will report to the Director of Applications Development & Quality Assurance. In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Writing test plans, creating test cases, executing tests, managing defects and reporting progress to the group,
• Writing and maintaining automated scripts to retrieve, build and deploy source code,
• Working closely. communicating effectively and mentoring members of the cross-functional integrated QA team, and
• managing the use of all testing and release tools including but not limited to: Bugzilla, Visual Source Safe, QTP and load testing tools.
You will have:
• 10 years hands-on experience in a QA role, project lead experience, and a proven experience with test automation.
• Experience in manual and automated testing of software applications with at least 5 years hands=on experience with automated testing suites (such as QTP or Test Director).
• Complete working understanding of development lifecycle, testing and release processes.
• Must have extensive knowledge of the development of web-based applications.
• Experience in preparation of test plans, test strategy, test case design and test execution.
• 3 years direct programming experience in a Microsoft environment (C++ or Visual Basic) or related experience
• Experience working with database stored procedures (Oracle preferable).
• Strong advocate for the end-user. The desire to understand how customers will interact with the product and what will make the interaction a positive experience.
• Ability to work with tight timelines, multitask and prioritize objectives.
• Must be positive, self-motivated, quality minded, and possess an exceptional ability to organize, communicate, and work as part of a team.
• Ability to interact professionally with others, on the phone, in writing and in person, in a fast-paced environment while maintaining productivity and quality control.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve effectively with other individuals and groups with diverse opinions.
