[KITlist-Tech] Java UI - Front End Developer (San Jose, CA)

Title: Java UI
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12+ months

Experience:
7 - 9 years of must experience in developing or using Hierarchy data visualization tools (e.g. Cytoscape, arborjs). Customizing tool code or writing new plugins as per need is highly desirable.
Extensive experience with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML is required.
Experience with AJAX, REST, UI performance and scalability.
Integration of UI with Struts/Spring framework or REST webservices.
Programming duties may include Java, J2EE related applications development.
Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, Struts, Spring, JSF, Web services, Weblogic application server, JDK 1.5, JNDI will be preffered.
Good in communication so as to explain to offshore team.
Must Have Deployed applications on J2EE Application servers like Websphere or Apache Tomcat web server.
Should think analytically and be a team player.

Additional:
1. Should know Photoshop to come up with some jazzy banners/screens/Menus/Dropdowns etc.
2. Able to understand the requirements and suggest the layout based on user experiences and project requirements.
3. Able to provide mockups and HTMLs based on the requirements in no time.
