Job Description:
As a member of Molecular Detection Laboratory, you will join a multidisciplinary team developing a state-of-the-art molecular spectroscopy system. We are looking for your talent in electrical engineering and embedded programming.
Typical responsibilities for this position include the following:
Collaborate with project lead on the development, fabrication, and characterization of instruments.
Participate in the development of novel architecture for next generation IR spectroscopy systems.
Present results of your research in regular program reviews to Agilent Labs management, the broader technical staff, and business unit collaborators.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 yrs. relevant industry experience
Experience with both board level mixed signal design and embedded programming
Expertise in the use of contemporary design environments (Mentor)
Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills
Strong analytical skills and decision making ability
Ability to excel in a multidisciplinary project team
The following additional skills/experiences are highly desired:
Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
Specific experience with the design and characterization of infrared spectroscopy systems
Track record of success in system level electrical/embedded design of commercial instrumentation
