UI Designer/Developer:
FanSnap, based in Palo Alto, CA, is an early-stage consumer Internet company that is focused on growing the live event ticket market. The company is well-funded by a top-tier venture capital firm and has recruited a world-class management team with leading technology and domain expertise. We offer both competitive pay and a chance to be a "team owner" via stock options.
We are looking for a passionate UI Designer/Developer who is not afraid to push the envelope of both their design and development. If you are passionate about UI design, have a great design sense and love to get your hands dirty coding you are the one for us.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Product Management Team to mock up the UI/UX for new product features and optimizing current UI implementations. Implementing your designs in HAML and SASS (Knowledge of HAML and SASS is not required as long as you can hand code HTML and CSS).
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have:
⢠At least 3 years UI design and development experience
⢠A great eye for design and creating simple yet effective user experiences
⢠Be able to hand code HTML, CSS, have some basic knowledge of Javascript and be a champion for standard design practices
⢠Ability to use Photoshop and to rapidly iterate through designs based on PM teams feedback
⢠Ruby on Rails, HAML and SASS are a plus but not required.
