Technical Lead or Senior Engineer – Android Development

JOB Description

- Primary responsibility consists of the design and development of mobile payment card applications for the Android platform that interfaces to a servers providing end to end access to user's financial information including credit card, debit card, bank accounts and transactions.
- Necessary expertise includes developing innovative and creative solutions for the payment industry.
- Necessary background includes the design, development and commercial deployment of Android applications using both native and webview (HTML5) features including the certification of these applications for distribution through the Play Store or other such stores.
- Previous experience with security considerations when developing Android applications is a requirement.

Core skillsets include
- Android SDK, Java, REST web services, JSON, HTML5, Javascript, AJAX, Linux.
- Knowledge of CORE banking or the payment industry protocols like 8583 is a significant plus.
- Experience must include a minimum of five years with at least three years in Android development. - Masters degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred.
