OTM Software Professionals in search of a Senior Systems Analyst for Fortune 500 Client Company.
**Local candidates with local experience preferred**
Summary:
This IT position ensures that Product Management and Engineering's business systems requirements are fully supported with the appropriate systems, tools, and processes. It accomplishes this via rigorous process and data analysis, creation of business/functional system requirements, effective project management in tandem with Product Management and IT partners and successful implementation strategy and delivery. It is also responsible to ensure process and system integration across the breadth of Product Management functional activities.
Responsibilities:
• Document functional business requirements and business cases
• Manage requirements process with end users
• Assist with translating business requirements into a solution design
• Participate in appropriate steps during system development life cycle to ensure functional requirements are met.
• Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives
• Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be
• Participate in end to end implementation planning to include project management, issue management, communication and change management
• Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts
• Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff
• Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary
• Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience
• Must Have exceptional communication skills, able to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users
• Must Have experience giving presentations to senior management
• Must have project management experience
• Must have business process engineering experience
• Desired: Candidates who have spent time as part of a software engineering organization/team
• Desired: Candidates with product management experience
• Desired: Candidate with Business Analyst experience working for a large software company
Education:
• 4-year degree in Information Management, MIS, or related field
