We are looking to hire a Lead Build/Software Configuration Management Engineer for our client in San Jose,CA.This is a permanent full time position.

Title:Lead Build/SCM Engineer
Location:San Jose,CA

RESPONSIBILITY:
Primary responsibility consists of managing the software configuration management, release, and build infrastructure for a highly available, highly scalable OLTP system targeted towards handling transaction processing in the payment card industry built around J2EE frameworks.

BACKGROUND:
Necessary background includes strong fundamentals in software configuration management, as well as developing, analyzing and maintaining tools to support continuous integration and deployment build automation. Experience in managing multi-site tools to handled source code control, continuous integration and deployment, and repository management is a requirement. Knowledge of software packaging for customer deployments is a very important aspect of this position.

SKILLS:
Core skillsets include an in-depth knowledge of Subversion, Jenkins (or Hudson), Maven and ANT, Artifactory (or Nexus), Sonar, Linux, bash scripting and Perl scripting. Experience with JBOSS environments and Oracle/MySQL database is a big plus. An understanding of deployments in the banking industry is also important.
Experience must include a minimum of five years' experience in a software development environment with delivery of multiple products. Masters degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred.
