Curriculum Publication Specialist needed for long term consulting project for a Fortune 500 client company. The Curriculum Publication Specialist will ensure that curriculum and courses are available for the worldwide delivery team. Pay rate $35-45/hour DOE.
** Local candidates with Local experience preferred **
Responsibilities:
• Generates book files for global print vendor in both physical and electronic formats
• Creates and maintains various templates used to generate books
• Manages all aspects of the courseware proof process
• Creates, updates course records in learning management system (LMS)
• Reviews/corrects datasheet format, posts datasheets in various corporate repositories
• Publishes new and updated courseware in multiple corporate repositories
• Updates and maintains the courseware library
• Interfaces with corporate localization team to manage all aspects of localizing courseware
• Generates pricing syntax for new and updated courses
• Interfaces with pricing team to request pricing for upcoming courses
Skills/Experience:
• Expert power user of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe FrameMaker required
• Strong organizational skills that include maintaining a courseware library
• Expert time-management skills that support prioritizing tasks on a daily basis
• Strong attention to detail and follow up
• Ability to apply judgment to resolve competing priorities
• Strong written communication skills including basic editing
• Customer service focus with strong interpersonal skills
• Be able to work cross-functionally with vendors and employees
• Be able to multitask and work independently in a fast paced environment
• Able to quickly learn and use multiple information systems
• Experience with FrameScript and SharePoint a plus
• Experience with DITA a plus
Education & Work Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production specialist role for an Enterprise Software Company.
