Title: Graphic Designer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 3+ months (renewable per quarter)

We are seeking for a Graphic Designer with at least 7 years of experience. This team specializes in the conception, building, direction, and maintenance of web properties, web pages, web applications, software applications, and platform development.

You must have strong concept and design skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, and the agility to switch between tasks at any given time.
You will rapidly create and iterate visual content for design fictions and prototypes and support web development and design functions on the team. Provide the technical ability to create and draft revisualization designs for web sites, UI, UX, web applications, and expect software application functions, developing, building, and delivering the UIUX graphics and web assets needed for a project
You will have an exceptional portfolio showcasing creativity across different mediums.

Qualifications:
- 3 - 7 years experience in designing for web
- Bachelors degree in design or equivalent professional experience
- A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating skills and approach to user-centered design as well as fluency in best practices
- Experience with a variety of design and optimization tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite 6 (CS5 acceptable; main experience needs to be in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, and Dreamweaver)
- Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, CSS (Flash, HTML5, and Perl a plus)
Required Skills: High competency with Adobe Creative Suite (at least CS5) (incl. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Dreamweaver, and so on) as well as other relevant production tools (Final Cut Pro, 3D modeling tools a plus). Design knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Flash, HTML5, and Perl a plus
Preferred Qualifications: - B2B design experience and experience defining or maintaining design style guide

Responsibilities:
- Create graphical concepts and treatments as appropriate to web UI/UX and application UI/UX
- Develop and strengthen web assets, including coding, style and usage guides, and collaborate with the design community to ensure consistent use
- Use marketing and business requirements to assist in developing compelling designs
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions
- Present work to design, marketing and business stakeholders for review and feedback
- Develop and maintain detailed design templates and specifications

Requirements:
A strong portfolio with a diverse design palette
Expert level Adobe Creative Suite
Microsoft PowerPoint and Word template skills
High-level creative thinking, conceptualization, problem-solving and print production skills
Superior time management skills
A positive, can-do attitude with high-level of dedication and a collaborative spirit
Attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines
Ability to analyze and discuss your creative concepts in a clear and creative manner
