Title: Project Analyst w/program/project management
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 3+months (renewed quarterly)
Seeking for a Project Analyst to perform project lead activities for a global business resiliency program. The individual who fills this role will work toward an identified set of timelines and milestones to identify and mitigate business continuity risks to people, processes and technology in engineering.
A successful candidate will have a customer focus and the following background:
-- At least 4 years of strong proven program/project management skills, at least 2 years of managing global projects successfully with at least 5 years´ experience in a fast-paced, high technology environment
-- Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying process improvements and best practices in cross-functional environments with a strong focus on results (DMAIC/Six Sigma background with an understanding of the data-driven quality strategy for improving processes desired)
-- Demonstrated excellence in program/project management. (PMP certification a plus, but not required)
-- Strong presentation, communication and teamwork skills
-- Demonstrated ability to communicate with different audiences (staff to senior executives) and for different purposes (informational to persuasive)
-- Willingness to work occasional global hours to support stakeholder community
-- Demonstrated evidence of excellent facilitation skills
-- BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience required.
This position requires:
- Structured problem solving - ability to take a large, complex problem and break it down into components
- This position requires exceptional MS Office 2010 skills Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Facilitation - ability to work with several organizations with differing needs and develop an agreed upon solution to meeting the requirements
- Partnership/Teamwork - ability to work well with a variety of people and be flexible to take on different roles/responsibilities as projects change
- Influencing skills - strong business partnership, business process analysis, and influencing skills with heavy interaction at the decision-making manager/director level
