Company Description____________________________

Who we are
At Prezi, we prefer not to follow trends. Instead, we learn about culture and respond with technology. We believe in humanity's desire for creativity and self-expression.

Short history
Adam Somlai-Fischer and Peter Halacsy started working on Prezi in 2007, as they felt slides limited their ability to develop and explain ideas. Prezi was their response to solve these issues. Prezi officially launched in April 2009 from Budapest - the home town of Peter and Adam. Sunstone Capital and TED Conferences invested in Prezi in July 2009, and the San Francisco office was opened in November 2009.

Why should I join Prezi?
Helping people to share ideas is an ambitious goal and we´re off to good start. In less then 2 years of launching we have 2M people signing up to use Prezi and I estimate that around 10M people have already seen their first Prezi. If we execute well we can potentially improve the lives of 1/3 of the earth´s population. Businesses, schools and governments are all dependent on sharing ideas. Some of the world largest companies, like Microsoft was built on helping people to share ideas (I know, I know, not your favorite example but the Office package is nearly 1/2 of Microsoft´s revenues).

Why should I be excited to work at Prezi?
Prezi people love that we touch the lives of millions of people and we´re also joined in an ambition to make the world a tiny bit better by developing a space that evokes a desire for exploration and communication. If we only could understand each other a bit better, then we can potentially reduce the number of conflicts and time wasted in meaningless meetings.
