Move, Inc (Realtor.com) is currently looking for a talented individual to join our team in the role of MicroStrategy Architect
* Collaborate with product BI to understand business reporting and metrics requirements to build the logical model
* Interact with ETL developers, Project Managers, and members of the QA and production support teams
* Participate in all parts of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis, to design, implementation, testing and release
* Establish best practices and standards for MicroStrategy meta model development
* Working closely with system administrators and DBAs, help manage MicroStrategy development, QA, and Production environments
* Generate meta data reports related to application usage, computing resource utilization, access-privilege reports
* Be responsible for performance tuning of technology stack and application
* Maintain, update, create technical specifications, design documents, training material
* Work with Data Warehouse team to troubleshoot and performance tune applications
* Interact and work cohesively with Offshore development team
Experience:
* Bachelors Degree (Computer Science Preferred) or equivalent experience
* 8+ years of DW/BI experience
* 4+ years as a MicroStrategy Architect/Lead
* 3+ years as MicroStrategy Reports Developer
* Working experience of administering MicroStrategy 9.x product suite including:
o Desktop
o Intelligent Server
o Web
o Distribution services
o Enterprise Manager
o Object Manager
* Demonstrated experience in performance tuning of MicroStrategy implementation using MicroStrategy configurations and also at database level for optimal performance
* Demonstrated experience in implementing complex hierarchies
* Demonstrated experience of building dashboards for various business functions
* Demonstrated experience in dimensional & relational data modeling
* Excellent team and communication skills
* Demonstrated experience being a member of DW/BI team responsible for end-to-end project implementation
* Demonstrated experience of cluster setup is a huge plus
* Demonstrated experience with capacity planning is a huge plus
* Working knowledge of MicroStrategy SDK is a huge plus
* Experience in a MS SQL Server 2008 is a big plus
* Experience working with large data set, preferably web data, is a huge plus
* MicroStrategy certification is highly preferred
* Knowledge of ASP.NET and prior experience customizing MicroStrategy web a plus
