Hello -

This role is ideal for someone with strong front end skills in Javascript libraries, as well as some good database and backend experience. You will be joining a startup that is very small and doing quite well in BETA with customers. You will be one of just two web engineers in a company of primarily backend engineers.

Desired Qualities:

Self-starter / Self-managed at least 7 years of experience.

Highly motivated

Ability to deliver at a rapid pace and meet aggressive deadlines

Ability to work remotely and on-site in Mountain View

Proven creative software design and development

Leader in the software design and implementation field

Architect capabilities: able to drill down into the details while maintaining focus on the overall framework

Works fluidly between all levels of management and personnel

Can turn a UI vision into functional code

Proficiency with the following languages:

Java, JavaScript/DHTML, JSP / JSTL

SQL

Must have demonstrated knowledge and capabilities with:

CSS

MVC style frameworks

Version control software

Java Web & App Servers

Build Tools (Ant, Maven)

Web-server end-to-end development

Component design at all levels of codebase

Object-oriented and object-based programming

Preferred knowledge of:

IDEs (Eclipse, Web logic, Visual Studio, IntelliJ)

JavaScript Toolkits (YUI, GWT, jQuery)

Web Hosting Service Providers (Rackspace, AWS)

Command-line Interfaces and Operating Systems (UNIX, Solaris)
