Role

•Must assess and recommend a new content management system (CMS) and lead project implementation

•Executes website and web page designs based on business requirements, in-formation architecture, and approved design concepts

•Identify and recommend technical solutions for design issues (Front-end and back-end development).

•Produce designs that demonstrate expertise in page layout, graphic design, and user interaction design

•Create mock-ups and prototypes using Photoshop, Fireworks, or Flash for ecommerce pages to demonstrate how design concepts will function in final production

•Implement and manage staging site prior to production

Skills

•Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS): implementation and optimization

•Strong knowledge, understanding, experience of web site design, web tech-nologies and information architecture for ecommerce

•Graphic Design (type, color, layout, composition, motion graphics); Software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, ActionScript

•Knowledge of web development languages including CSS, HTML, PHP, AJAX

•Web-database integration and experience with RDMS including SQL Server and MySQL
