Since that time, we have become specialists in torque wrenches, scales and other tools use for precision manufacturing. At SE Laboratories, we focus on the needs of our customers. SE Laboratories provides cost-effective, timely turn-around service in calibrations, repairs, and preventative maintenance. The metrology technician is responsible for calibration and support of client needs at the client location. This position will meet with customers to address issues and assist in generating new business. Today, our services encompass a wide range of equipment within these groups:
• Test Equipment
• Electronic Instrumentation
• Bio-Medical Equipment
• Mechanical Measuring Equipment
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
• Repair and calibrate of a variety of general purpose Mechanical tools; digital and dial indicators, calipers, O.D/I.D. micrometers, bore gauges, thread, cylindrical and Height Gauges.
• Develop and maintain high customer service and satisfaction levels.
• Focus on business growth and increased profitability
• Manage multiple customers/issues in parallel
• Prioritize/reschedule tasks with minimal impact to customer service.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
• TMDE/PMEL certified or
• AS in Mechanical Technologies
• Min. 2 years Calibration or testing exp with mechanical devices and tools
• Lift up to 65 pounds; occasional standing and bending required
• 3 years experience customer service experience, external and internal
• California drivers license or the ability to acquire one with in 30 days of employment
• Local travel of less than 10%
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong analytical ability, effective communication skills, strong verbal, written and listening skills and professional telephone skills and manners.
