The International Consulting Group (www.icg-sj.com), located in Silicon Valley, is seeking a well-qualified Technical Web Project Manager consultant for our leading high tech client. Seeking candidates that thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functionally demanding and large dynamic corporate environment.
Location: Onsite at Client HQ in the South S.F. Bay/Peninsula Area.
Compensation: Consultant rate depending on experience, and as a w-2 employee.
Duration: Open-Ended.
Description: The Technical Web Project Manager consultant will be part of a key Project Management group that leads and coordinates technical projects with primarily the Web development/technical staff and secondarily the creative/marketing communication teams. The web projects range across; external customer/audiences, internal team/employee audiences and a retail storefront.
MUST HAVE:
At least 6 years of project management experience, including a minimum of 4 years with web development/back-end teams, and marketing/communications/creative - stakeholders/internal clients teamwork.
Proven ability to drive technical aspects of web projects including; collaborative requirements definition and documentation, technical design and solution reviews, development of test plans/QA, participation in User Acceptance Testing, online content creation and publishing, and oversight of implementation schedules.
Exceptional project management processes, methodologies, and tools expertise with the ability to successfully develop, adapt, manage and apply them across a variety of projects and global cross-functional teams.
Well-rounded capabilities with B2C and B2B websites, and intranets.
Comprehensive knowledge of "back-end" through "front-end" web technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communicator, plus strong interpersonal and consensus building skills.
Relevant experience working in high tech ideally including a balance of large Tech 200 and start-up/small company environments.
Proficient self-starter who is very resourceful, has a keen attention to detail, and is an expert individual contributor and adept team-player.
STRONGLY PREFER:
Working knowledge of content management, web-programming, and global project management experience.
Web/Digital/Interactive certificates/coursework.
Bachelors Degree in a Technical discipline or Marketing, Communications, or Creative Services.
PMI or PMI project management certification a plus.
