DESCRIPTION
This position is located within the Field Operations organization at Vigilent, where you will provide a key, customer-facing role in configuring, implementing and supporting our state-of-the-art intelligent energy management systems at customer sites. Your role will be to install Vigilent systems â€" including hardware, software, networking and cloud services â€" that perform mission-critical control functions related to cooling, airflow and energy management. In addition, you will directly manage contractors and other third parties that provide services as part of the installation process.
We are looking for bright, motivated individuals who can handle themselves in front of clients while simultaneously managing contractors. We appreciate self-starters who set high expectations for themselves and enjoy getting every detail right.
You should reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. Extensive travel â€" up to 80% â€" will be required to customer sites throughout the U.S. and worldwide, with one to three weeks typically spent residing at client sites. You will be on the front lines installing Vigilent energy management solutions that are a part of the core infrastructure in data centers, telecommunications facilities and commercial and commercial buildings owned or managed by our large, multi-national clients.
Travel required, approximately 80% of the time.
