DESCRIPTION
This position is located within the Marketing organization at Vigilent. You’ll be a key contributor as the business manager with P&L responsibility for a product line of energy management systems as we build a world-class marketing team.
Your role will be to capitalize on our huge growth opportunity in the data center market, identifying opportunities, developing and managing a product line of energy management systems targeted at this rapidly-growing market segment. You will develop product plans, marketing requirements, define the user experience, set pricing, craft product messaging and positioning, and have end-to-end responsibility for the success of your business portfolio.
You will provide vision and leadership to a cross-functional team responsible for developing and bringing to market exceptional software, networking and hardware solutions to data centers with 10,000 sf or more in space. You will interface with Product Management, Engineering, Business Operations, Applications Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sales, Channel Marketing, the executive team, customers, distributors and resellers, solutions partners, analysts and industry consultants. You will have bottom line responsibility for your product line and the growth of your business.
The position is based in our El Cerrito office, with some travel required (expected 20%) for customer and vendor meetings, trade shows, press and analyst briefings.
