DESCRIPTION
This position is located within the User Experience group at Vigilent. You’ll play a key role in designing a friendly and powerful user experience for the next generation of our energy management systems for data centers and telecommunications facilities. Expect a fast-paced environment, with an opportunity to make key contributions and inventions that advance the state of the art in energy management and dynamic cooling control.
You will develop advanced, web-based applications that provide the primary client-based interface to the Vigilent artificial intelligence engine running on our servers â€" a powerful front-end to a mission-critical environment.
You will work closely with Product Marketing in a tight-knit team to turn customer needs into elements of exceptional user interface design. You should have an appreciation for the importance of understanding customer workflow, effective visual presentation of Big Data, and combining efficiency with robustness in application front-ends that provide our customers with tools that not only provide the desired information, but are also a delight to use.
You will have responsibility for technical design and implementation, with end-to-end responsibilities for developing and maintaining our technology base. You will interface with Product Marketing, Creative Design, Applications Engineering and Quality Assurance.
The position is based in our El Cerrito office.
