The Senior Quality and Reliability Engineer will:
- Interface with R&D and Ops Engineering in planning, designing, executing, and documenting HALT and HASS test during product NPI.
- Plan, review, and execute product on-going reliability tests in house, at contract manufacturers, or OEM suppliers.
- Improve product quality by working with product teams in analyzing and resolving any outstanding quality issues from product reliability test.
- Perform statistical analysis of product quality and reliability from reliability test.
- Support R&D and Supply Chain Mgmt in reviewing, selecting, and qualifying new power supplies and power supply manufacturers.
- Provide quality engineering support, analysis, and resolution to all power supply quality issues.
- Establish a set of metrics, quality dashboard to track product quality and reliability based upon on-going reliability test results.
Required Job Skills:
- Have knowledge and experiences on digital, RF, and optics products.
- Must have hands-on experiences in conducting product reliability studies and testing such as HALT, HASS, OOBA, and ORT.
- Have solid knowledge and experiences of manufacturing assembly and test processes.
- Must have experiences on customer design and off-the-shelf switching power supplies (AC to DC, DC to DC) qualification, test, and failure analysis.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to work with cross functional teams in resolving problems from reliability test.
- Have strong statistical analysis background.
- Self starter and able to perform multi-tasking projects.
- Able to travel and audit (2-3 times a year) domestic and international contractor manufacturers, power supply and OEM manufacturers.

- 10+ years
Areas of Direct Experience:
- Hands on experiences in all levels of the tasks as listed above
Educational Requirements:
- B.S. EE, M.S preferred
