DESCRIPTION
This position is located within the Core Technologies engineering team at Vigilent. You’ll be a key contributor developing the next generation of advanced control, optimization and diagnostics algorithms, which provide the artificial intelligence foundation of our advanced energy management systems for data centers and telecommunications facilities. Expect a fast-paced environment, with an opportunity to make key contributions and inventions that advance the state of the art in energy management and dynamic cooling control.
You will work closely with the other members of the core technology and controls engineering teams to turn customer needs into elements of exceptional product design. You should have a solid understanding of how to model complex, MIMO (multi-input, multi-output) environments generating significant amounts of Big Data. You should have a passion for applying our technology to ensuring optimum performance, exceptional energy savings and delivering the highest reliability for the most mission-critical applications that provide the foundation of the world’s telecommunications infrastructure and the Cloud.
You will have responsibility for technical design and implementation of core algorithms that are expressed in system software. You will interface with the Applications Software engineering team, Quality Assurance and Product Marketing.
The position is based in our El Cerrito office.
