Sr. Web User Interface Engineer needed for long term project work for Fortune 500 Client Company. Client Company is stable, public, and growing.
**Due to the nature of the interview process, local candidates with local experience only please (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain complex front-end code for large scale eCommerce platforms (both mobile, desktop).
· Document and build unit tests for your code
· Work with operations, QA, and product management to maximize product effectiveness
MUST HAVE experience with:
· Building pixel-perfect user interface with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
· JavaScript testing frameworks such as QUnit, Jasmine, buster.JS
· Deep understanding of DOM, XML, and JSON
· Browser compatibility issues
Desired Experience:
· Building large-scale high-performance systems
· Front-end build environments, such as Maven
· Deep understanding of MVC design patterns
· Closure Compiler
· Agile and waterfall methodologies
· Working in a large cross-functional team
· Working on high profile / high traffic sites
