[KITlist-Tech] File - How to Unsubscribe

Hi Everyone,

As a reminder, if you don't wish to receive KIT List emails, you can either change your settings to stop the emails, but which will still allow you to view the job postings via the web...or you can unsubscribe from the group entirely.

1. To stop emails, but remain on the KIT List to view jobs on the web:

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech

Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Then go under "Message Delivery" and choose "Special Notices." Be sure to choose "Special Notices" since we do occasionally send out important messages from the moderators. Then hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

2. If you'd like to opt out of the KIT List, just simply send an email (from the email address you wish to remove) to:

KITlist-Tech-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

This can take 24 hours or so to kick in. If you're still not unsubscribed after a day, then email us at KITlist-Tech-owner@yahoogroups.com and we'll help.

If you joined via the groups website, then you simply need to go here:

And then select "edit my groups." Go to the right side of the page and check the box saying "Leave Group" and then hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

[KITlist-Tech] File - Subscription Tips to Post, Subscribe, Unsubscribe

I've compiled a few "tips and tricks" on using the KITlist-Tech group with the hopes that this information will eliminate direct mail to the moderators with these questions. Please read through these instructions.

The best way to use Yahoo groups is via the Yahoo groups website. By doing so, this allows you to change your email preferences from individual emails, to daily digest, to no email at all. Here's how:

Go to:

If you're not already a member, you'll join here. This allows you to then edit your membership and indicate your email preferences. Also, you can read all job postings via the website, respond directly to posts without having to decipher a cut-off email address, and peruse archived messages.

[KITlist-Tech] File - Tell a Friend! Plus, tips to manage KIT Email Volume

Hello Everyone,

We've grown to over 71,000 members just by word-of-mouth by friends helping friends find great jobs.

I really appreciate all the support and the amazing people in this special community!

In order to have enough great jobs for everyone, we need you to tell employers and recruiters about the KIT List so we can get everyone back to work (or into new jobs) faster. The power of friends helping friends is the whole spirit of the KIT List!

KIT LIST TIPS:

This is the monthly reminder to let you know that if the volume of KIT emails is getting too much for your system, here are three options to help you manage them:

1. Direct all KIT emails to a special folder:

Some email systems allow you to create separate folders within your in-box. Create a KIT List folder and then create an email filter that will direct any emails with the word "KIT" in the subject line into that folder.

2. Have your emails grouped into one (or more) KIT email per day:

You can choose "Daily Digest" on your YahooGroups email preferences so that instead of getting individual emails. About twenty individual emails are then combined into one. Depending on the email volume for the day, you may receive more than one digest email.

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Under Step 2, choose "Daily Digest" in the "Message Delivery" section. Hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page, and you should be all set.

3. Stop all KIT emails and view jobs via the Web:

Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech/

General Summary:

Supervise an inspection team responsible for routine inspections, first article inspections, identifying non-conformance trends, and documentation review. Provide analysis and support for incoming, in-process, and final inspection/testing. Lead Kaizen activities to improve IQC process flow.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise the IQC Inspection team

• Ensure proper workflow for routine inspection, first articles, non-conformances, finished goods testing, and documentation reviews

• Analyze key processes and eliminate waste in the processes listed above

• Perform trending of NCR and identify solutions to prevent recurrence

• Generate tracking metrics for IQC and provide analysis of the results

• Provide guidance, training, and instructions for inspectors

• Create document change orders

• Data entry and filing including computerized MRP transactions

• Perform internal calibrations.

Skill Requirements:

• Experience in a medical device, FDA QSR regulated industry, including ISO 13485 requirements

• Experience inspecting electronics, mechanical and cabled assemblies, as well as printed material and labeling

• IPC 610 620 or equivalent experience

• ANSI Z1.4 Sampling Plans or equivalent experience

• Experience using Excel, Word, Access

• Experience using optical inspection systems

• Strong communications and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently with little supervision

• Experience training and instructing others

• Experience handling nonconformance's

• Minimum of 5+ years related experience in medical device industry

Education/Training/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in inspection and testing experience in the Medical Device Industry

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory position

The Role: Senior Threat Analyst

Your day-to-day

Member of a creative, enthusiastic, and geographically-distributed team (in a 24/7/365 "follow the sun" model) that is responsible for identifying, parameterizing, and responding quickly to spam attacks levied against some of the worlds largest organizations

Provide responses and explanations to customers who request assistance through our ticketing system

Analyze email messages reported by customers in order to determine correct classification (spam, threat, bulk, ham)

Be available in an on-call basis to analyze e-mail messages to determine correct classification (spam, threat, bulk, ham)

Perform deep analyses of spam message headers structures to identify novel spam features, and design regular-expression (regex) based rules to detect those features

Participate in attack post-mortems to improve the team's response to threats

Provide responses and explanations to customers in a positive, professional manner

Analyze misclassified messages (spam and legitimate) and make updates to spam definitions to correct their classifications.

Ad-hoc development of tools as necessary to aid/streamline analysis activities

Help us define the landscape, prevalence, and evolution of messaging abuse, threats, and attacks by participating in future requirements definition discussions of our products

Conduct research on current ongoing spam and/or malware trends as needed with a goal of reporting noticed threats and developing strategies on how to address.

What you bring to the team

Experience with Unix/Linux environments and a with a range of Unix/Linux command-line tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English), including the ability to convey highly technical information in an accessible manner;

Familiarity/experience with Perl, Python, Bash scripting, Java or C++, SQL, especially advanced regular expressions and Unix command-line invocations;

Knowledge on how mail delivery works, including SMTP as well as an understanding of email structure and headers;

Working knowledge/expertise in the spam domain;

Familiarity with malware landscape, working knowledge of various cyber threats is strongly desirable;

Previous data mining experience is a plus

Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving abilities;

Willingness to interact with customers (web and occasionally phone-based support) to help resolve issues

Ability to work independently yet fully integrate with worldwide, remote teams

Can-do attitude with a focus on problem solving, product quality, and a strong desire to get the job done

Requirements/Education and/or Equivalent Experience (including technical and non-technical capabilities)

BSCS or equivalent, or equivalent technical and hands-on experience.

Desired Skills Experience

We are looking for experienced Business Analyst (UAT lead) professional with a focus on business UAT to join an eCommerce team. You will be part of the team to transform systems and processes that empower eCommerce teams to bring the latest products and content to several Platforms.

Understanding the principles of eCommerce, and content management systems is a Must. You have a knack for understanding tools from a user perspective. You are able to build up your business domain knowledge in eCommerce domain quickly and translate them into testable scenarios, test cases and scripts. You coordinate and lead UAT planning and execution across platforms and cross- functional teams.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience working in large-scale, global content and product catalog management environments with in-depth industry knowledge on product catalog and product information management systems

• Proven successful experience in leading UAT including end to end testing and production validation across platforms and cross-functional teams to ensure system implementations are in compliance with business requirements. You will be accountable for

- User acceptance testing strategy, processes, entry/exit criteria

- User acceptance test planning including resource and schedules in consideration of inter-dependencies and risks

- Test analysis and design, test cases, test scripts preparation and seamless execution

- Issue triage and prioritization

- UAT status report and communication to stake holders effectively

• Proactively look for continuous improvement opportunities with the test methodology and best practices to support User Acceptance Testing

• Strong business analysis and problem solving skill with root cause analysis is a must in order to triage, troubleshoot, categorize and prioritize UAT issues, and influence teams with data analysis to support their decisions

• Strong project management skill in planning and managing test schedules, test resources and risk control across our partners during all test phases

• Is self-motivated to take initiatives and thrive in an ambiguous work environment

• Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure with a high degree of flexibility

• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills across global audiences that include engineering, Content Development, Digital Content Management, Product Management and other partners

Description:

You will partner with business community and system leads to understand business scenarios and define testing framework for our catalog management tools and processes multiple platforms and systems. You will lead the effort in user acceptance test across functions teams. You will be driving application tests, integration tests and end to end tests from planning, design and analysis to execution and communication.

This involves:

• Defining best-in-class testing framework and strategies to ensure that end to end systems and processes are to support the business goals and meet their requirements

• Developing test plans and approaches that promote scalability, smart production practices, and intuitive tools UI

• Identifying UAT dependencies (environment, data etc.) and defining test scenarios, test cases and test scripts

• Leading UAT execution with functional teams including coordinating resources, tracking and communicating progress, troubleshooting an prioritizing UAT issues, obtaining UAT sign offs from key business stakeholders

• Effectively articulating UAT issues to the technology teams, translating use cases into user stories and influencing engineering solution development with your in-depth analysis

• Ad part of the UAT, managing business team adoption of these tools and processes through readiness planning, documentation, training, and support
