As a reminder, if you don't wish to receive KIT List emails, you can either change your settings to stop the emails, but which will still allow you to view the job postings via the web...or you can unsubscribe from the group entirely.
1. To stop emails, but remain on the KIT List to view jobs on the web:
Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KITlist-Tech
Go to the "Edit Membership" link near the top of the page right above the blue bar saying "Sue Connelly's Keep In Touch List." Then go under "Message Delivery" and choose "Special Notices." Be sure to choose "Special Notices" since we do occasionally send out important messages from the moderators. Then hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.
2. If you'd like to opt out of the KIT List, just simply send an email (from the email address you wish to remove) to:
KITlist-Tech-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com
This can take 24 hours or so to kick in. If you're still not unsubscribed after a day, then email us at KITlist-Tech-owner@yahoogroups.com and we'll help.
If you joined via the groups website, then you simply need to go here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups
And then select "edit my groups." Go to the right side of the page and check the box saying "Leave Group" and then hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

Position Summary:
Employee is responsible for receiving donations, organizing and keeping warehouse clean.
Annually distribute over 1200 furniture items and serve over 400 families per month with clothing, furniture and household goods. Promote EHP's values of

Primary Responsibilities
Employee is responsible for assisting in receiving, sorting and distributing donated items

3. Maintain a clean and professional atmosphere
4. Assistant with calling clients and other warehouse desk duties as needed

I've compiled a few "tips and tricks" on using the KITlist-Tech group with the hopes that this information will eliminate direct mail to the moderators with these questions. Please read through these instructions.
The best way to use Yahoo groups is via the Yahoo groups website. By doing so, this allows you to change your email preferences from individual emails, to daily digest, to no email at all. Here's how:
Go to:

If you're not already a member, you'll join here. This allows you to then edit your membership and indicate your email preferences. Also, you can read all job postings via the website, respond directly to posts without having to decipher a cut-off email address, and peruse archived messages.
Of course, you can also subscribe by sending an email to:

And you can unsubscribe by sending an email from the address you subscribed with to:

KIT LIST TIPS:
This is the monthly reminder to let you know that if the volume of KIT emails is getting too much for your system, here are three options to help you manage them:
1. Direct all KIT emails to a special folder:
Some email systems allow you to create separate folders within your in-box. Create a KIT List folder and then create an email filter that will direct any emails with the word "KIT" in the subject line into that folder.
2. Have your emails grouped into one (or more) KIT email per day:
You can choose "Daily Digest" on your YahooGroups email preferences so that instead of getting individual emails. About twenty individual emails are then combined into one. Depending on the email volume for the day, you may receive more than one digest email.
Go to the KIT List home page on Yahoo Groups at:

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) needed for a long term direct client project. Client is Fortune 500, stable and growing.
** Local candidates with Local Experience preferred due to in person interviewing. (Local = San Francisco Bay Area) **
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who will fill a vital role as Site Reliability team, providing hands on monitoring as well as incident documentation and management for eCommerce platform as part of a global team supporting and maintaining the platform. The Site Reliability team provides support and monitoring for the eCommerce infrastructure, performing both interrupt driven work (such as break/fix or emergency maintenance work) as well as project work (scalability, new technology, or cross functional projects for example).
Role Responsibilities:
As part of Site Reliability, the SRE will have the following responsibilities:
• Monitor the eCommerce environment and provide hands on with incident management and documentation
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
• Contribute to Operations documentation maintenance
• Followup on existing tickets and escalations to drive issues to completion
• Perform triage and data mining on issues as they arise
Technical Experience Skills:
To be successful in this role, the following technical experience, knowledge and skills will be required:
• 4+ years as a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator supporting complex, mission critical, revenue generating
SaaS or IaaS environments
• Experience in SLA driven teams with strict service delivery and performance requirements
• Exposure or experience supporting virtualization technologies, particularly OVM, VMWare, Xen, and/or KVM
is a plus
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Automation technologies such as Puppet or Ansible
• Experience with various Site Operations functions such as monitoring, logging, and break/fix work.
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Web User Interface developer needed for a long term direct client project. Client is Fortune 500, stable and growing.

Key job responsibilities:
-Work as a front-end web developer with cross functional teams understanding and refining user interface requirements, designing and writing code, and troubleshooting bugs when necessary.
-Participate in setting front-end coding standards, guidelines and identify and document best practices. Understand the necessity of and contribute to coding standards.
-Stay up-to-date with new front-end web development technologies, and use them to enhance the usability and efficiency of the site.
-Lead efforts on large-scale, global, web-based projects, ensuring robust and lasting solutions are implemented.
Skills and requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of experience in developing front-end and user interface code for large scale web sites.
-5+ years of experience coding in DHTML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, REST.
-Ability to address and quickly fix browser compatibility issues.
-Knowledge and eagerness to implement current web design and development trends including HTML5, CSS3.
-Experience with Content Management Systems.
-Strong understanding of performance, web analytics, SEO techniques.
-Familiarity with server side technologies, back-end frameworks.
-Ability to learn, leverage, and contribute to various JavaScript libraries (jQuery, CanJS, etc).
-Experience with Subversion or similar versioning file management systems.
-Strong teamwork and communication skills, and time management abilities.
-Passion for creating a great user experience.
-B.S. / B.A. degree or equivalent work experience. Computer Science degree is a plus.
